The Alpine Designs XC-1 is a 25,24 pound a mountain bike with a steel frame. The frame comes in red or Pearl  Metallic  White.

It was first released in 1997 and again in 1998. The XC-1 is fully rigid.

The XC-1 comes with Shimano Deore XT components, including a Fly Mountain Top stem, a threadless Aheadset Kontak DL-2 headset and Shimano Deore XT RapidFire SL shifters.
